Sponsoring a feature or section of Metro can give your brand a sustained presence in the paper, with repetition building your reputation. You can achieve extra standout on pages that don’t carry any ads - for example by sponsoring the weather or our ‘Start The Day’ puzzle page, you’ll be on a page without any other advertising.
We like synergy here at Metro and will try to associate your brand with what you are sponsoring, like when British Gas sponsored our weekly Green page for their ‘Green Streets’ campaign back in 2008. This might not have made as much sense however if they were a travel agent – if that were the case, they could sponsor our ‘Out of Office’ weekly travel feature.
